Day Three: Personal Journal, Yoga by the Bay

Hello, i got a nice sunshine background today.

Well it is hard to believe that i could make it on day 3, which is hard for me but it doesn't matter since i had passed it today. So everything went as i planned, that i did straight those four hacks that i had made yesterday. I confess that i did a little cheating, which i swapped cold water since i can't take it directly right after get up with hot water then i rinse with cold water so i think this is also count, that make it easier for me to be prepared. Another solution just come up during the first process so tomorrow and the next other day i could use this trick to make it easier deal with cold water.

So as i prepared my breakfast, i take a quick look with my phone since i asked my friend yesterday to remind me to go before six. I saw four miss calls left from someone i know, meet my friend, Bert (not his original name for privacy reason) did all those miss calls in just five minutes. Glad to know him that could remind what is more important for me, even his traits is stoic and intransigent. 

I made a quick preparation for myself, with the new task that just popped to my head, the one that i already planned to do it three days ago, which is shaving. My face skin is quite sensitive and need warm water to moist the beard area while i had no option but using cold water so my shaving today is a bit unpleasant. Another quick breakfast, two slices of pizza which is just come out from the griller, and dress up.

I rushed to the meeting point and glad to hear that i am not the last person who comes up, well at least second last sounds better than last. High five my guys and one of them just bought a new phone, which featuring auto timer that you just need to spread your hand on the camera and fist it, the count down will start in five second and snap it. Other guy including me was surprised with the feature and throw a jokes on it. We waited for the last guy to come and today is her birthday. 

Her car comes at 6:30 and seems she had a problem with parking, that she went to the wrong side of road so she a bit confused where to park but this is not a big deal since she is professional enough to park and after all guys meet already, we went to destination which is around 15 kilometers from our place and we only had thirty minutes to go. We planned to taking highway even it is still morning and on weekend but highway is more efficient and less hassle of traffic light or other commotion.

6:40 and we almost reach to destination, thanks to our skilled friend and we encounter small discussion, where is the best exit since the place is in between two exits and one said based on her knowledge that the further one is a better option since the road just went straight to the destination so we followed her opinion since nobody gave decisive opinion. We exit on Illsdune and she said that i don't think this is the right road so we just make a u-turn and went to the highway once again, to the other exit that we just discussed.

The time shows 6:50 but nobody is in hurry since we are the guest and made a lot of jokes in this car. So finally we reached to the gate, that is close with the destination, after we paid some tickets since this place is a privately owned beach, and we reached to the destination at exact 7 and guess what, the weather seems not in prime, some participants said that i feel that it is going to rain soon so we switched to another place, that is still located inside in this beach. One of the committee decide to move to indoor building and we found a location in the outside of unused building and have a yoga practice there. We waited some guys around 10 minutes since everybody is not there and we have a small talk. A girl notice me that she saw me on wanderlust and told that i am skillful however I just deny it and also praised her. I am not really remembered her, i know that i ever saw her face in other local gym but i am not precisely sure that she is that one so i just give a little smile.

Our yoga topic for today is hip opener, the activation of Svadhistana as a second chakra to have a better intimacy, sensuality and emotion since this chakra is for sex. The teacher also said that this chakra is useful for fertility and connection with human being. We began with meditation in vajrasana, when you tuck your knee to the front and heel to the top so our sitting bone sit on the heel and the mudra, or hand gesture forming Jal-Vardhak or Varun mudra, when you connect your little finger with thumb and meditate for five minutes.

After we open our eyes up, we start with sun salutation and this version is different with others since there is modification in it and we did it ten times, vinyasa flow, rapid tempo. Rapid you said? Yes since one movement one short breath so the transition between sequence is fast. This is as i remembered for the sequence.

Step right or left leg back to form and Anjayenasana modified with backbend extension

Step front leg back to Adho Mukha Svahanasana (down dog)

Bring the shoulder forward to Palakasana (plank pose)

Bend the elbow to Chaturanga Dandasana

Raise the chest up to Cobra or Upward dog

Back to down dog

Step right or left leg forward to Ardha Utthanasana

Bring both arms up to ceiling for Urdhva Hastasana and close it each other

Bring your arms in front of the chest in Anjali Mudra, repeat.

There is next sequence which is familiar with the first one but i could not remember everything and there is not much different with the first one, just the addition of Bakasana or crane pose right after Ardha Utthanasana, we bend our leg to form Malasana and proceed to Bakasana.

The third pose is tree pose with the modification of it, Padangusthasana with the hip open to the side, twist and so on. Sorry i could not remember everything since i am not recorded it right after exercise so most of it already forgotten.

After it, we clean and take a group pictures of us with the teacher, all group, our group and some cute picture with all group performing standing pose next to each other. The time shows 9 am and the good thing is one in our group had prepared the breakfast, she cooks great in almost every snacks and today she brought handmade sandwiches which made of chicken and spice, dipped in a (looks like cheese) but sour and i asked her the specific name for it three times and now i can't remember what is the name. 

After snacks, we proceed to take another class in local gym at 11, and time to say goodbye with some guys since some of us is not in the same gym with us. We make it on time to next class and we already tired from the first class, so this second class considered tiring for us. Some of us fall many times and sweating more than usual. The coincidence is the second class focused on hip muscles group while we already exercise this muscles much before.

The torture begin to end when we finish our class with headstand with twist in straddle legs, takes much energy upon us. Then as usual, we had a small lunch by our member, who know housewives are so talented to cook lunch, fried noodles and brownies satisfies our tummy to the max. 

After class we play a bit with acroyoga and one of use suggested to had a dessert that near with gym, a Japanese food with the 50% promotion on selected food and all desserts. We had a really nice quality talk here, we even talk around unique profession across the world for example: certified wine tester, coffee tester, bed tester, spice tester and so on and since i was very tired for today, i just take a small time to nap there, i really don't care where i am (restaurant) since i was exhausted but i don't want to come back, i had nothing to do there.

So now i went back two hours ago, grab a porridge and egg cake. Remembered that i need to study IELTS and not motivated, i prefer to write so do i. I will take IELTS reading after this and went to bed since tomorrow i had a relative wedding blessing in the morning which require me to wake up earlier and also skipped my church last week so i should attend tomorrow. So i commit myself to write what i should do tomorrow and there is the list:

Keep the four hacks on!

Attending blessing ceremony (should be there at 10, so i will start going on 9)

A time gap between 6 and 9 while i need to take my sister to her church around that time and it's still morning so i might sleep again or study IELTS

Attending church in the afternoon or evening

Fixing friends bracelet by adding lava stone in the middle of tiger eyes

Checking the price of ticket to Land of the God island on 20 of June

And the others let it flow. My to-do list will expand as i walk around in 1 hour or chat with friends.

That's long enough to write and i feel better after writing. Hope i could do this again tomorrow and keep doing it consistently.
